The board members of board XIII introduce themselves below.

Jenny Smit

Chair Board 13

Since January 2020 I’m chair of the 13th board of Subliem. It is my task to supervise and support everything within the association. I lead the weekly board meetings and I am present during meetings with other bodies of the VU, such as the faculty board or the student council. During official occasions, I represent the association as a whole.

Iris Feije

Secretary Board 13

As secretary I am responsible for handling mail and emails, and the associated correspondence. It is also my task to take minutes of meetings and the General Meeting of the Members. Another important responsibility is to keep records of our members and mailing list subscribers up to date. This includes processing new members of removing old ones, so that our emails reach the right audiences.

Laura Hos

Treasurer Board 13

As treasurer I manage all financial matters of the association since January 2020. That means that I make a budget at the start of the year, and take care the rest of the year that people hold to it as good as possible. An essential part of that is keeping precise accounts of revenues and expenditures using receipts, invoices, collections and bank statements.

Lodewijk Onstein

Chief internal affairs and introductions Board 13

As chief internal affairs and introductions, as the name suggests, I am responsible for the entire introduction period of our programme. Moreover, I ensure good communications with SBI staff and am responsible for the common room.

Tristan Verbeek

Chief external affairs and career Board 13

As Chief external affairs I am responsible for creating a future outlook for SBI students. I am the face of Subliem to companies. Together with the Committee for External Affairs (CEA), I ensure Subliem attracts enough corporate sponsors. Through sponsorships, I offer companies the opportunity to get in touch with our students and vice versa. This is put into practice at various events, among which the largest event initiated by Subliem: the Innovation Career Day (ICD).
